******************************************

As requested by some members who were unable to attend the AGM last Friday and Saturday, we have decided to include here some extracts of the audio recording of the AGM so that you can understand the feelings and exasperation of members seeking for truth, transparency and Godly governance in our church during the Meeting. As the task of listening and editing the recording is a tedious process, we will be updating this post with new additions every now and then.

Please turn ON your SPEAKERS and click on 'PLAY' to listen.

The Meeting was scheduled to start at 7pm. The first 1.5 hours was spent on roll call, a sermon by SP, followed by Communion and then a short greeting by Pastor Guynes. The actual business meeting started at around 8.30pm, when the Meeting was handed over to the Resolution Chairman, Pastor Ronnie Chin.

Clip 1: In this first audio clip, you will notice that the Chairman has the tendency to give a mini "sermon" before and after each person speaks. You will also notice how bias his opinions are, and how one- sided his decision is and how legalistic his approach is, in acting as the Chaiman for our AGM.

Clip 2: (About 9pm) In this second audio clip, you will notice how the Chairman seems to be prolonging the proceedings by encouraging debates and objections to the Resolution.
Latest addition on motion to appoint SCRUTINEERS posted on 29.06.09. The additions includes the ridiculous scrutiny of SP's supporters for the proposed scrutineers, the "accidental" oversight of ushers, pastors & chairman when an associate member (SP's supporter) spoke out and the chairman disallowing a member to share his personal thoughts. This same rule was not applied by the chairman, when the Resolution to close blogs was called for later. (Clip 5)

Clip 3: (About 10.10pm) In this audio clip on Ratification of SP's appointment, you will notice the manner important decisions are made by the BOD, without due consideration of it's long term implication.

Clip 4: The first 7 minutes contains the Resolution for AG Council intervention. Notice only Robert, the proposer got to speak from the floor. Bro Robert is one of the original Charter members from Jalan Sayor back then. There was no open discussion. The rest is a collection of interesting dialogues taken from both days of the meetings. There was a lapse of about 1 hour in between the motion to complete all the Resolutions on saturday night @ 11pm and the final decision to adjourn @ 12 midnight, whereby the above resolution and the one to close blogs was carried out. At the end, "words from SP's mouth" is note worthy, whereby he instructed his "bouncers" to take their positions to be ready to "throw out" members who voiced out their emotions loudly. These are not the usual ushers but specially selected men. Just added, the rights of the Associate Members (23:20 mins into clip).

Clip 5: In this clip, you will hear "hurt my feelings," "very disturbed," "an embarassment" but no "unconstitutional," or "violates church constitution" as basis of support for the Resolution to close blogs. It's all about "saving face". No consideration was given to the member's needs, rights and freedom to express themselves. The testimony of SP's supporters seeks to cast a bad light on other church pastors as being unfriendly and uncaring. This is not true as many who have left are now being "nursed" by other Pastors for their "hurts and wounds". Then the Church Constitution came back to play the next day when the Resolution for a new Constitution Review Committee was rejected.

Clip 6 - The final clip: In this clip you hear the Chairman and SP speak the same language, when reminding members to appreciate the priviledge of clarification given by them. It is not our right to speak so we must be grateful to them. We also want to pose the one million dollar question to the Resolution Chairman, "What has Manchester United got to do with issues brought out at our Church AGM?" Then in the later part, you will hear the saddest Q & A at the AGM 2009.

PG & BOD's MERRY-GO-ROUND
Any person in LEADERSHIP, from School Head Prefect to CEO of companies, Religion Supremo to Presidents of nations, will understand and know what it means "THE BUCK STOPS HERE!"

Only PG, CEO in CC, keeps PASSING the BUCK...
it is really a shame & disgrace. Whose footsteps is he following? Certainly, not Jesus Christ, this we can be sure.

The DANGER OF THE GOSPEL OF ACCOMODATION

David Wilkerson’s Warning for The Assembly of God: Sadly unheeded!
July 12, 2008 by John
from The Word is True:

Hi Saints,

Below please find part of the above sermon given by David Wilkerson at an Assemblies of God headquarters chapel service.

It is too long to be uploaded to the blog.

Please do go to http://truedsicernment.com/2008/07/12/david-wilkersons-warning-for-the-assembly-of-god-sadly-unheeded/ if you are interested to read the rest of his sermon

The DANGER OF THE GOSPEL OF ACCOMODATION BY DAVID WILKERSON

I am not coming to you as a pastor but with a prophetic word. God so shook me recently with this message that I should bring it somewhere, sometime in Springfield. This morning the Lord, by His Spirit, spoke to my heart that this is the time. He has called me to be one of His watchmen, and I have wept over this and prayed that He will help me deliver the message in a spirit of love. This is not a chastisement but a warning for the Assemblies of God.

A NEW Gospel

Accommodate means to adapt, to make suitable and acceptable, to make convenient.

A gospel of accommodation is creeping into the United States. It’s an American cultural invention to appease the lifestyle of luxury and pleasure.

Primarily a Caucasian, suburban gospel, it’s also in our major cities and is sweeping the nation, influencing ministers of every denomination, and giving birth to megachurches with thousands who come to hear a nonconfronting message. It’s an adaptable gospel that is spoon-fed through humorous skits, drama, and short, nonabrasive sermonettes on how to cope—called a seeker-friendly or sinner-friendly gospel.

To begin with, those terms are unscriptural. The gospel of Jesus Christ has always been confronting—there is no such thing as a friendly gospel but a friendly grace.

This new gospel is being propagated by bright, young, talented ministers. They have come upon a formula which states you can go into any town or city; and if you have the right formula, within a short time you can raise a megachurch.

If you are a young man and have certain skills, you find those skills and a part of the city that would best suit you. You move into that area, poll it, and find out what the nonchurchgoers want:

“You don’t like choirs. Well, would you go to a church that didn’t have a choir?” Yes.
“You don’t like to wear suits.
Would you go where it’s informal?” Yes.

Then you go to your computer and design a gospel that will not confront but will shoot out the desires and the needs of the people. After you have gathered a handful of people, you keep interviewing them to find out what they want; then you design your message to help people cope with their needs. The program you design is intended to make the church comfortable and friendly for all sinners who wish to attend.

This gospel is fast becoming the most prosperous and flourishing of all religious movements.

Thousands attend these churches.

The pastor is the CEO, and it becomes a business.

They make no bones about it: They are following Madison Avenue tactics and can make a success of it. Their formula for quick church growth is cleverly packaged and is being sold especially to young ministers—those who want to be a part of the big boys and what’s happening on a fast track. They want it to happen quickly

WHEN THE BODY OF CHRIST BECOMES A BUSINESS

A young girl asked a simple question, "A business? But isn't the church supposed to be a body?" I could not envision where this line of questioning was going, and the only response I could think of was, "Yes."

She continued, "BUT WHEN A BODY BECOMES A BUSINESS, ISN'T THAT A PROSTITUTE?"

Hi Saints,
Above is an excerpt of the article by Dr. David Ryser
I am really astounded by astuteness of this young girl

To the many calvarites who still attend CC, I hope all of you realise the kind of "food" you have been "served" by SP every sunday. It's not spiritual food but rather sermons asking that you give to CC faithfully so that God will bless you or sermons that "lectures" the sheep on how to behave in view of the recent crisis in CC (although he doesn't want to admit it).

I'm sure SP must be reading all comments in CT blog and knew that there are members who TOTT (turn off the tap) on CC and give their money to other churches. In his sermon today in CC he said that it is not right to "eat in one restaurant but pay to another restaurant". Well, does SP knows what kind of "food" he is feeding his sheeps? Definately not spiritual food. He forgot that he has been seen as one who is not a good steward of the hard earned money that his sheep gave.

He is still arrogant and full of pride calling himself the CEO of CC. He has long forgotten that he is anointed by God to serve and to be christ-like in all his ways. His treatment of the CC members in all AGM/EGM and how unjustly Dr Lum was sacked as a member are good testimonies of his unchrist-like behaviour.

When will SP humble himself and repent?

RECORDER said...

In his (PG's) sermon today in CC he said that " it is not right to "eat in one restaurant but pay to another restaurant".

Once again, a repeated example he often uses, each time CC '$$$ Collection' drops!

It's rather obvious nothing else is in his mind except MONEY, that is all he is interested in.
The theme "MONEY, PG's PRIORITY" is most apt for his ministry

Little wonder, CC is spiraling downhill spiritually.

RESTUARANTS IN AUSTRALIA
I had a Christian friend who opened a restaurant in Perth, Australia.
It is an accepted practice there that if the customer is unhappy with the servings then they don’t have to pay anything for it. And if the service is bad, the customer is pacified with a extra free dish.

PG will, again, just have to learn from the secular. If he doesn’t serve his members well then don’t expect any offerings in return and if his preaching is really bad, then may even have to pay the members some compensation.

I'm a bit annoyed that comments have been disabled for this post:-

http://calvarytoday.blogspot.com/2009/06/ccc-matter-of-concern.html

I have some queries regarding the photo attached to this post.

I am intrigued to find out who drew these assumptions and conclusions on the CCC and the freemason symbols. Are there other sources cited and where can we find this?

Has it been confirmed that the architect commissioned to build CCC, Ken Yeang, is a freemason? Where is the evidence?

It is distressing to read about the recent AGM but I am more concerned about freemasonry and the CCC and maybe CT can draw up a post with the evidence before we proceed further.

It is serious business when we link freemasons to the building of the CCC because there are consequences obviously - spiritual ones - so we need to make sure that we are right to claim this.

Have the pastoral team acknowledged this? Or denounced it in any way?

Best regards,

The subject of freemasonry is rather complicated. However, its practices are not accepted nor condoned by many denominations of the church. Perhaps it may be of interest to you to visit some of these sites:

(1) Why would a Pastor condone freemasonry:

http://www.emfj.org

BTW, after Pastor D.R. Guynes chaired the EGM last year, he wrote an open letter dated Sep. 19, 2008 in which one of his remarks gives the reader the perception that he (Guynes) condones freemasonry. He wrote:

The design of the building by a "freemason" is of no great consequence. So much of what is done for Christian believers is done by other than Christians. All kinds of business activities such as banking, travel, hotel management, airline owners and pilots, legal services, local government, etc, etc are carried on by non-Christians and we accept that. "We are in the world but not of it," Paul said.

I do not agree with what he had written because in our normal life day-to-day when dealing with others, we are not interested in his beliefs or want to know. But it is different when the Church is designed by a freemason. This knowledge will nag at you each time you enter.

Firstly, thank you "the truth is out there" for your very quick response. CT could not have done better than that.

CT recommends that you "Anonymous" read the following postings in CT Archives. These readings would show you that this issue is not something new that was brought up only recently.

1. Sept 2008 - 4th Update to CC Members (10.06.08).

2. Dec 2008 - An Interview with Dr Lum. Part 1.

3. May 2009 - SP and BOD divides Church further. Part 3.

The Pastors and Deacons have not openly denied the issue. As pointed out already, even Pastor Guynes have put his mark of approval by saying, "The design of the building by a "freemason" is of no great consequence."

We can continue to expect them to remain silent again as they are hoping that the members and contributors to CCC have short memory span and will soon forget the issue.

Another point is, from the 1st EGM (where CCC was introduced to the Church members) to the many past AGMs, questions have been raised by different members in different words, regarding CCC designed by a free mason. Many have also written letters to the Pastors and Deacons to express their concern. To verify this, you will have to speak to your church member friends over a cup of teh-tarik.

Have a blessed day.

RESPONSE TO : RECORDER JULY 13 10.50AM

I agreed totally with you that CC is spiraling downhill spiritually. Whenever, SP preach I feel as if I am listening to a hypocrite preaching (someone who doesn't walk the talk). "Beh ta han" (cannot take it any longer) so I left not only body but my money too.

Try tasting the "food" of other churches it's so much more "delicious" and full of the anointing of God. The worship songs is so "rich" that one can really sense the sweetness and the love of God and for God.

Give and nothing but give said...

I totally agree with you "Not Fool by Faith Promise" that whenever PG speaks/preaches, my spirit just can't take it. You hit the nail on the head by calling him a hypocrite.

I was at another church and I found the worshiping and preaching so filled with the Holy Spirit. When came to offering time, I just gave with so much cheer and joy. Unlike in cc where I find my heart and spirit so very heavy and reluctant.

Forget about PG's nonsense in asking people to give, give and give. Who says we can't give to other churches or bodies of Christ? Pastors who said that must be very selfish.

Be Transparent, Truthful and practise Godly governance PG. Then even without you asking or begging, your sheep would give.

The Preaching of $$$ that Drives people Away!

Take a sample survey on 'Visitors' to CC and one common statement they would make is

"Gee, the Pastor spend a great time talking about
$$$, from Announcement, to Main 'Message' to
Offering time. And so many type of Pledge$ too!"

It's the $$$ IMPRESSION PG & ASSoc leave with them NOT the WORD of God. How tragic:(

No wonder, attendance drops dramatically!

wealth of information said...

Wow! There are a wealth of information on freemasonry out there. After visiting the sites as suggested by the Truth is out there, July 14, 2009 @ 12.03am, I now have a clearer picture of the subject.

Rev D.R. Guynes is much respected - he was the first pastor of Clvary Church in Jalan Sayor in 1961, was the first General Superintendent of AOG Malaysia from 1957 - 1958 and now the honourary pastor of CC and a member(is he a voting member as he is not a resident in Malaysia). If he had said "the design of the building (of CCC) by a freemason is of no great consequence", only shows that he is biased towards PG. Also most many calvarites saw that he was not neutral during the EGM. I do not believe that he is not aware of the stand of many churches regarding freemasonry. Maybe he should read "Why would a Pastor condone Freemassonry". Hahaha.

I REPORT said...

those who noticed, wondered what went through PO's mind last Sunday as he stood at the stage, while PG seized over from him to do the* call for the 'Missions Faith Promise' appeal.

As ex Missions Director, PO was meant to stand in for SKum ( his successor) to do the *announcement /job. Alas, PG certainly did not believe PO could 'move' congregation to part with $.

So, PG took over with his "sales pitch'--well, after all who would dispute PG is a Motivation Speaker, especially to get others to part with their $$$

Poor PO, his mentor still don't think highly of his ability, as with all other Assoc. PG would hold No one in greater esteem than himself-- he slights others, Surely the Assoc know it but they take it, because they consider pG as their 'master'! So, they deserve how they are treated.

It's a lost cause in CC--the Sunday Services are nothing more than "$peeche$" & propaganda
for PG's 'greatness!'

Rev D.R.Guynes had said
"the design of the building (of CCC) by a freemason is of no great consequence." REALLY?

Already both CC & CCC are facing the DIRE Consequences!...Church Spilt, Spiritual decay, Financial Catastrophe, and even AOG is blatantly playing with its own rules rather than abiding by BIBLE's principle, without any fear of God.

Have these 'servants' of God, forgotten that God is not mocked?

Let's pray they will come to their senses!

I will sit and wait said...

Since after the AGM, I was wondering what is going to happen next. I go to cc and everything seems to be same except now I can easily find parking and no worry about being late and no place to sit at the 10.30 service. Plenty of parking and we can choose where to sit as we like even if late.

TTG people and CT seems like very quiet. I am not sure what to do now. I wish for change in cc but I see no change. Now they are selling carnival tickets and I must ponteng life group meetings. Otherwsie my leader will ask us to buy. So what to do now?

I thank God for this devotion I read today from Pastor Rick Warren. I like to share with you all.

July 20, 2009
Stretching Your Mind
by Rick Warren
In the book “Putting the One Minute Manager to Work,” one of the key concepts is this: Don’t Just Do Something—Sit There!

Too often, many of our problems arise from acting before thinking. We confuse activity with productivity. We think, “I’m so busy, I must be accomplishing something!” In reality, we may just be spinning our wheels. Like sitting in a rocking chair, you can expend a lot of energy and create a lot of motion, but you still aren’t going anywhere.

Progress and productivity always require thought! The Bible says:

“A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn’t and even brags about it!” (Proverbs 13:16 LB).

“A good man thinks before he speaks” (Proverbs 15:28 LB). “The wise man looks ahead. The fool attempts to fool himself and won’t face facts” (Proverbs 14:8 LB).

“A wise man is cautious and avoids danger; a fool plunges ahead with great confidence” (Proverbs 14:16 LB).

So TTG people and CT, I don't know what you are doing but after reading this I know you are thinking before acting. I believe you guys are seeking and trusting God before you act. Thanks for everthing you people are doing.

Thank you Jesus too.

CARNIVAL AGAIN?

Even my faithful brethren who handed me the leaflet, admitted the CCC Financial PIT( another est. *$150 Million) is just a nightmare!

Whatever is raised from Members and public' hard earned money is a 'drop in the ocean'--till today PG & BOD did not give the TRUE picture of the CCC status. It is all very vague yet they dare continue with its endless 'fund raising'!

*( what indeed is the ABSOLUTE $$$ for completion including ALL M&E and ID works?, What is the additional $$$ incur for the delay to next year? In the first place WHY the delay-- run into financial difficulty? what are the REAL implications & consequences to the church? etc...)

Don't they have accountability to those who give?
Better that those who still intent to give, get answers before acting. ( Wise to heed advice in Proverbs, as prompted by 'I will sit and wait')

I agree with your trend of thought that we should not rush into things. You quotation of Proverbs are apt. You often save more time by not taking rash actions and creating a mess that you have to clean up later.

I am sure the TTG are careful people and I believe in them. Have you heard of the saying, “The lull before the storm? ”

HOW VARIOUS SOCIETIES RESPOND TO A PUBLIC TRAIN STOPPING HALFWAY through a journey:

1) Democratic country: They will call for volunteers from all the mechanical engineers to work together to solve the problem.

2) A Socialist country: They will get all the people to work together to pull the train along.

3) A Communist country: They will close all the window blinds and impress upon the passengers that they are still moving.

The worse thing to do is the third alternative and that is what the CC leadership is doing!

This is the story told to me by an Ex-youth Calvarite when I bumped into him visiting in S'pore:

"BAD COP, GOOD COP" This was how 'mildly' an Ex-youth Calvarite described the Pastor in-charge of the Youth/CA in CC, where he was active once a upon a time.

His call to go into BCM was up in smoke, because it was blocked in strange incidents or rather excuses put up by the pastor concerned. Whereas, children of an Assoc Pastor the G's were given the full support- hassle free, and not to BCM but overseas Christian University, at that!

The long& short of this sad story, is that this young adult, saw through the assoc pastor whom not only him but others too, as TWO-Face man. This discovery was result of his own personal experience.

What has CC done to this young adult? He did not get to fulfill his calling into Ministry! Yet, how many times, we hear PgG & Assoc Pastors, Missions Dir
TALKING about the need to encourage youth to go into Ministry...So, it's all hypocrisy.

The real state of affairs in the administration & management of the church is frightening to say the least. Their ways & actions are of the world and not of GODLY LOVE. It's about the interest of the G Family first. And the subservient Assoc Pas tow the line to benefit themselves too.

So,CC has been 'operating' for decades on PG's SYSTEM of GOVERNANCE--3S:
Self Interest,
Secrecy &
Sly.

How long more will it last?

Well, it depends on the you, really. The very least--Stand-up against it, and then let God do the rest.

REPLY FROM AOG RE:
Calvary Church - Resolution Chairman, Pastor Ronnie Chin

Dear Bro/Sis

After much deliberation, I have decided to share with you the reply I received from the AOG.

I wrote a letter on 1st July 2009 to get a response from the AOG re the actions of the Resolution Chairman, Pastor Ronnie Chin pertaining to Calvary Church AGM.

Here is the reply I received today (3rd August 2009).

SUBJECT: Calvary Church - Resolution Chairman, Pastor Ronnie Chin

"Dear Bro. Paramsothy Vijayan,

Greetings from the General Council Office!

We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail dated 1 July 2009 with regards to the above matter.

We want to thank you for your interest on the matter. However, we want to advice that this is an internal ongoing A/G matter and therefore we cannot help you with your requests.

Thank you
Executive Secretary"

My reply:

"Dear Executive Secretary AOG Malaysia

Thank you for conveying the decision of the AOG.

Indeed this was the reply I was expecting from the AOG. This is indeed good news because intercessors know from past experience that the Lord often permits His child to come to the end of his efforts to resolve a problem and even experience apparent failure! Then, just when all hope is lost, when prayer apparently seem to have failed, The Lord acts to deliver so that NO FLESH CAN GLORY IN THE DELIVERANCE AND HIS PEOPLE WILL GLORIFY HIS NAME!

Now that all means have been exhausted, those who walk by faith can expect deliverance and wait for the Father to intervene and resolve present issues at Calvary Church.

We await with great anticipation for the the Lord to shake the very foundation of Christianity in Malaysia and bring about changes not only to local churches but also National Christian organisations.

In the past the enemy orchestrated the battle "outside the camp". But today, he has taken the battle "within the camp". Nevertheless, those on the Lord's side are able to discern his evil strategy! Hence, all is not lost. Indeed as Christian History has proven, God has one final weapon that would bring about deliverance to those under the bondage of cruel task masters...."

A CASE of HOPELESS AOG

Bamboo Conspiracy, thank you for sharing the exchange of your correspondence
with AOG. You were right that their reply was an expected one. To further substantiate the truth of what is going on in AOG, it is understood that
the many letters written to them with strong grounds and even proof of unscriptural
Conduct of wayward PG in CC ( apart from other cases as revealed in this blog),
Their ‘classic’ reply is “ ..there are insufficient grounds to warrant any disciplinary action…” or “ It’s an internal matter –we cannot interfere” !!! They can’t differentiate
between Interfere and Intervene. Simply said, they are not willing to act.

In fact, to many who know AOG’s MODUS OPERANDI, it was a foregone conclusion! From the Superintendent to the Council Members, they are concerned only with protecting “Reputation” though sadly it is already a damaged one, and the “Indebtedness” they have towards one another over the years where everyone had one time or other enjoyed some favours—so they have this obligation to cover for each other, even though they could see the wrong!

Very true, “we await with great anticipation for the *Lord to shake the very foundation of Christianity in Malaysia and bring about changes not only to local churches but also National Christian organisations.”

Take heart this is *"THE ONE more Move" we can depend on. Praise God.

I am not surprised regarding the response Bamboo Conspiracy received from AOG, Malaysia. I had expected such an excuse from them.

Having read the blog by Dr. Henry Ng and also the "no initiative" taken by AOG in respect of the problem in CC which is widely known throughout the world at large, it is a foregone conclusion that AOG Malaysia will find an excuse not to act.

After reading Dr. Henry Ng's blog, I had also posted my comments on July 07 @ 11:10pm

Talk is cheap said...

Well, what can I say about the Council Members of AOG of Malaysia. Birds of a feather flock together. They apply the principle where you scratch my back, I scratch yours.

After hearing and reading from the blog that numerous attempts have been made to get their attention and action, still there was nothing forth coming. Probably the churches is Malaysia especially the AOG churches have come to a point where a revival and a "cleaning up" needs to be done, for the glory of our Lord's name.

Would you blame a non-believer when he/she says that most of the Christians are hypocrites? Worst when these people call themselves pastors and leaders of the church. They shout unfairness and demand transparency and truths outside their churches, but when it comes to their own backyard, they keep silence. They pretend that nothing has happened and nobody knows. Don't they know the song by Bette Midler "God is watching us, God is watching us, God is us from a distance."

If we have done whatever we need to do in a diplomatic and constitutional way (as demanded by them) and yet no answer or reply from them, I would strongly suggest that we take it up to the highest authority. Simultaneously, we could have a press conference.

Sometimes I wonder, how can we actually evangelize to our relatives, friends, colleagues and others, if not by our actions and what we stand for. Talk is cheap friends. Let's put action into our words.

The OBVIOUS said...

PROFESSIONAL PREACHER--that's what PG & SPG have become.(hence, "Talk is cheap"!) Therefore, beware of 'Message' delivered by them. Matter of fact, someone was told by Bible schooled persons that at the recent Family Church Camp, the SANCTITY of the WORD has been abused by PG.

The crisis is seriously DANGEROUS under the present proud and sly leadership of PG & BOD-- CCC's financial catastrophe is imminent to bankrupt Calvary church.

selah. We shall place our hope and trust in God who
can and will bring cleansing, restoration & renewal to CC according to His Will & Purpose, in His divine time.

Greetings to the brothers and sisters of this forum. As someone who attended Calvary Church for a few months back in 2000, I too feel saddened by the turn of events within the church.

I'd just like to share my opinion on the comment "eat in one restaurant but pay to another restaurant". We need to remember all those restaurants belong to God.

Hi Anonymous at 9.09 am on 14th Aug,

Your comment dat "We need to remember all those restaurants belong to God" is so apt.

Now if all those restaurants belong to God then, in these days of high tech & IT era, it really doesn't matter if we eat at one restaurant & pay at another restaurant; since they all belong to the same owner - God.

Years ago, we can only bank in our cheques & funds at the branch where we open our bank account; nowadays we can bank at any branch of the same bank.

Likewise, we can now pay the restaurant owner at any of his restaurants & we need not have to worry about the "restaurant captain" getting upset that he is not getting his "commission" on our payment since we were not pleased with his service in the first place.

"Restaurant captains" need to be up to the mark to earn their "commissions". If they get low "commisons", then they need to buck up & improve on their service to the diners.

Bon Appetif !!!

I fully agree with you on that. At the same time I would like to add that it is not the restaurant that is the problem. IT IS THE CHEF. If the chef keeps on dishing out grilled decomposed beef, scrambled putrefied eggs, worm-eaten cheese and rancid fruits, should we pay for them especially if they are the cause of colicky bowels and incessant diarrhoea? OF COURSE NOT! The chef should be thankful if we have not reported him to the authorities and make him pay for the medical treatment!

This spiritual chef at Calvary Church has been regurgitating the same old, tiring message of give, give, give, spewing self-justifying arguments for his wrong actions, puking out condemning, personal, vengeful remarks which are aimed at hitting at his own sheep who are just trying to caution him concerning his wrongs, casting curses, through guest preachers, at the very congregation who have been instrumental in feeding him and his family for 45 years. Yes, he will say, it was God who fed him. At the same time, he should show gratitude that the people of Calvary Church were willing to be used of God to feed him all through the years.

IN RESPONSE TO: Talk is cheap said... AUGUST 10, 2009 3:44 PM

Your comment: Well, what can I say about the Council Members of AOG of Malaysia. Birds of a feather flock together. They apply the principle where you scratch my back, I scratch yours.

My response: There are good people there. But there are also those who are proPG due to old obligations. And there are those who run their church in a similar way to Calvary. These pastors would be afraid that their congregation will rise up and stand for the same principles. When there is a good number of pro-people and cons-people then it is difficult to get a majority decision to act effectively.

Your comment: Probably the churches is Malaysia especially the AOG churches have come to a point where a revival and a "cleaning up" needs to be done, for the glory of our Lord's name.

My response: It is possible but improbable. Because it requires conviction of sin, repentance and a humble response like what happened to Nineveh when Jonah preached to them:

Jon 3:6-8 When the king of Nineveh heard about it, he got up from his throne, took off his robe, put on sackcloth, and sat down in ashes. He sent out a proclamation to the people of Nineveh: "This is an order from the king and his officials: No one is to eat anything; all persons, cattle, and sheep are forbidden to eat or drink.

All persons and animals must wear sackcloth. Everyone must pray earnestly to God and must give up their wicked behavior and their evil actions.

Can the AOG leaders respond like the king of Nineveh? Hardly likely. Hence no revival likely.

Your comment: If we have done whatever we need to do in a diplomatic and constitutional way (as demanded by them) and yet no answer or reply from them, I would strongly suggest that we take it up to the highest authority. Simultaneously, we could have a press conference. ........Talk is cheap friends. Let's put action into our words.

My response: I have heard that the TTG leaders have committed themselves to prayer for God to move and to show the next step to take. We must not walk too far behind God but we must also NEVER move ahead of Him! Let us pray and walk alongside Him. He is the God Almighty. The answers will come. Amen!

HOW GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS
He answers in three ways:
Yes, No and Wait
We need to be open to any of His answers.
To be able to do this, we have to BE SUBMISSIVE.
If His answer is YES, then we must exercise MERCY.
If His answer is NO, we have to exercise OBEDIENCE.
If His answer is WAIT, we have to exercise PATIENCE.

ARE WE ALL READY TO RECEIVE GOD’S ANWERS
TO OUR PRAYER FOR CC ?

Hey CT, I just noticed that CT blog have hit the 200,000 hits today. Keep up the good work and stay open so that people will know the true intentions of Calvary pastors & deacons. They just want people's money to build their own dream dynasty and not to build people up for God's Kingdom.

Hold on tight to our pockets because they have sent out their leaders to hard sell tickets to raise funds for the ccc. When they approach you, remember your money goes further to help genuine needy people like Taiwan flood victims now.

Let's be wise and not be fooled by them anymore.

Heard that the money collected, from the CC congregation in 2006, for the Indonesian Earthquake victims was ACTUALLY given to the Senior Pastor's personal ministry (Calvary International Ministires) & that the money NEVER reached the intended recipients as it was still in the CIM accounts at end 2007.

It seems that CC's Treasurer actually confirmed this at CC's EGM & AGM.

Wah!!! Like that how to give them any more money.

CCC: WORK at STANDSTILL?

I-Report was told that there is no activity at the construction site due to no payment to Contractors.

Was warned that CC faced dire consequences for delay of its own doing.

Again, as always, PG & BOD is keeping mum, and acting secretively, keeping the Congregation in the dark of the latest status of the project and the far reaching implications now that financially it is stuck.

And many LG leaders are unable to sell those fund raising 'Bricks' & Carnival coupons because they have come to their senses-- and see through it all: CCC is A man's vision in the name of God!

hi, thot I want to share some 'jewels which a pastor from another church shared'

ref 1 Tim 3:1-16
Deacons and ministers are 'servant leaders' should be like our Lord Jesus, humble enough to wash the feet of his disciples. If they do not have the humble loving character of Jesus our Lord as a foundation, then even when they arise to great heights they can fall. They will display ungodly traits like

ARROGANCE
ALONENESS
ADVENTURE SEEKING
ADULTERY

All of us can impact other lives, let us be watchful lest we cause others to fall.

AOG WASHED THEIR HANDS!

From all the postings of articles and events which covered the many actions taken up by concerned members of the TTG Cause, which included the appeal for AOG intervention via open pleas in the blog & formal letters, it is very clear that all these efforts have come to nought.

AOG M'sia has chosen to CONDONE the crisis, and "washed their hands" from their responsibility to deal with the issues which required swift and firm
handling with the Fear of GOD.

May the AOG Superintendent & its Board realise that they have acted cowardly by deliberately
letting-off the leadership &BOD in CC to face disciplinary actions and failed to counsel them according to the Kingdom's Governance.

When the consequences follow as a result of them turning a blind eye, they ought to remember they did not do what they could have rightly done for the Lord's sake, which is above all else.

There is a song which is often sung in churches (including AOG churches) & it goes .....

Were you there when they nailed Him to the cross?
Were you there when they nailed Him to the cross?
O........ sometimes it makes me wonder, wonder ......

The AOG Council, CC's APs & BOD should ponder & think of the words of this song; because by their actions &/or inaction pertaining to the integrity crisis at CC, they are actually nailing Jesus to the cross all over again.

They need to ask themselves ...... What Would Jesus Do?

Fellas, you may have made mistakes over the last few years but it is still not to late to own up, repent & undo those mistakes by standing up for the Truth, Transparency & Godly Governance to be restored at CC; in so doing you will actually be standing up for our Lord Jesus.

To the AOG Council, CC's APs & BOD, may His Presence be upon you as you ponder over your actions &/or inaction in this whole saga at CC. Think, reflect & take it to the Lord in prayer so that He will speak to you for you to do what is right in His sight.

May the Lord bless you in all you do. Amen.

TRUE Meaning said...

Received this true and "interesting" link from a friend which has a lot to do with what's happening in Calvary Church. I guess we must really seek the Lord's guidance and pray for wisdom to discern the TRUE meaning of His words, rather than allow someone to manipulate His words, for their own benefits and so-called truth.

Arise and champion the TRUE meaning of His words for rogue leaders have no place in Malaysia and on earth. May His kingdom come, may His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!

Dear Friends in Calvary Church.

Some of you have written and asked me some important questions which I believe is also in the minds of others.

For the benefit of others here are a list of questions posed:

1 I have put so much of hope in the 19th JUNE AGM to resolve the problems within Calvary but now it is a failure. It has only made things worse.
2."SHOULD I LEAVE CALVARY?"
3."HAS GOD FORGOTTEN US?"
4."PERHAPS GOD IS PUNISHING US FOR WASHING OUR CHURCH DIRTY LAUNDRY IN PUBLIC!"
5."MAYBE CHRISTIANITY DOES NOT WORK. ALL THIS GOD TALK IS JUST A SILLY PSYCHOLOGICAL ESCAPE FROM REALITY!"
6."I HAVE LOST MY FAITH IN GOD!"
7."I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH GOD!"

No! No! No!

Dearest friends, GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOUR CRY. He is WORKING BEHIND THE SCENE. I speak from personal experience. You need to understand the WAYS OF GOD - especially the principles of intercession.

Study the Bible and you will see that after a crisis event, it often appears the Lord has deserted His people. But KNOW - it is only apparent!

If you are hurting, confused and have given up hope, here is the address to the Time Square Church Sermons by David Wilkerson. Here you will find articles that will comfort you as you go through these trying times.

Lastly, we can all learn from Rees Howells how to stay on course when everything around us is falling and when even God seems to contradict Himself!

God told Rees Howells that He was going to raise thousands of missionaries to take the Gospel to the far corners of the world in the next 30 years - "THE EVERY CREATURE COMMISSION" and the "THIRTY YEARS VISION"

However, just as the churches in the UK, USA etc were preparing to reach out to the world, World War Two broke out! It was a direct blow to the commission and the missionary work!

Was God mocking His servants? Was He taken by surprise? NEVER. God had prepared His agent - Rees Howells and his co-intercessors to stand again the dictators - Hitler and Mussolini.

Rees Howells wrote a book to tell the Christian world God's plan in "GOD CHALLENGES THE DICTATORS". We can learn much from Rees Howells and his apparent failure in how to stand against the tide when powerful leaders stand in the way of God's work.

There are powerful forces at work which is hindering the work of the Lord. Those of you who love Calvary Church must NOW be co-intercessors. An Intercessor is not a prayer worrier! In fact Rees Howells said "PRAYER HAS FAILED, ONLY INTERCESSION WILL GET US THROUGH"
We need to understand intercession and how to use it in our personal life and to bless others. It is the way to understanding how FAITH operates and how we as ROYAL PRIEST cooperate with God to defeat the works of Satan.

As a start please watch the video clip, REES HOWELLS PART 1, I have produced to intercede for REVIVAL in MALAYSIA - in particular the removal of Rogue Christian Leaders and people in high places that hinder the work of God and rob His people.
