To bring this article closer home to us in Calvary Church, Kuala Lumpur, we borrow Pastor Eu’s words and reproduced them to read like this:
But the Calvary Church community has always been a peace loving people.
For the sake of harmony, TTG members engaged in closed door meetings in the past, to negotiate the issues of Truth Transparency and Godly Governance in the running of Calvary Church, rather than to bring it to the courts. And we were always assured by the Senior Pastor and Deacons that we could use our Church Constitutional rights at our AGMs to exercise our rights as church members to voice our opinions and to make decisions by way of voting so that the members voices are heard and carried out as allowed by our Church Constitution
But today (as decided by PG and Deacons since last AGM), they are saying we cannot use the Church Constitution and the various Church leaders have started rejecting all the Resolutions put in for consideration by members at the EGMs and the last AGM thereby confiscating the fundamental rights of the church members to vote at an AGM. And the claim is we "used to accept it" – but that's because the Church members have been tricked into negotiating behind closed doors in the name of the Christian and Church culture of "talk and resolve quietly." So because “nobody” heard from the Concerned Members, (many in the past and the present TTG) now PG, Pastors and Deacons of CC take advantage and say, we accepted it all this while. This is absolutely not true.
Different Concerned Members have been moaning, complaining, objecting and writing to the Church leadership for more than 20 years. (Many have said their peace and left to worship in other churches)
Should we concede for the sake of peace alone? Friends, the days of closed door meetings - where our views are deliberately misrepresented and compromised - where the Church Members are always bullied (i.e removed from church membership as in Dr Lum) and threatened (i.e axed from serving in church ministries) into submission for the sake of Christian Love and in the name of bearing a good testimony, are perhaps over?
It is indeed sad, that after 49 years of existence, the Church is still not ready for mature dialogue, and is still struggling to hear the voice of reason.
This is not a Christian Love issue, this is not a Touch not God’s anointed issue, this is not even a Forgive and Forget your pastor issue.
And this is definitely not a maintaining a good Christian Testimony in Malaysia issue.
Before us are simply constitutional and “human rights” issues, a call to respect the spiritual convictions and Godly principles held by members of Calvary Church. This is simply a call to exercise common sense and to respect boundaries and rights of Calvary members whose monetary contributions are paying for the salaries of the Pastors who are now "biting the hands which feed them".
We hope and pray that the above facts and reasons would help Calvarites understand that TTG brothers and sisters, are not insisting on using the AGM to propose RESOLUTIONS to be voted upon by members to "irritate" the “easily confused people” of the church.
We continue to pray for peace and seek a reasoned solution, so that Calvary Church can indeed shine as a great testimony for our Lord Jesus Christ, so affectionately known as a fountain-head church in Malaysia and the world over.

Conspiracy of silence is a tacit or explicit agreement to keep something secret. This term was first used as a complaint about lack of attention, but today it more often refers to remaining silent about something unfavourable or criminal.
Come this Sunday, Chinese will be celebrating the lunar new Year. Soon Easter will be here and after that there will be a new pledge taking for CCC.
Since SK announced in mid-October that NF did not complete their work and a short mention in the Calvary website, there is no update on what CC has done to remedy the problem regarding NF and the construction of CCC.
When one ask for update, there is a stone wall. No one one seems to know or rather keep silent as "silence is golden" No details from the project director, bro. Han nor PG
Looks like there is a "conspiracy of silence" from the leaders in CC especially leaders like PG. SK, Jim (grand title - Project Director) but boh liaw i.e. not competent nor qualified in respect of this multi-million project. Structural engineers, civil engineers, quantity surveyors are all aware the the Project Director must be technically qualified and possessed many years of working experience.
This is another clear example of PG's "I make the decision and must not be questioned" attitude. Bro. Han, I was told you are a qualified civil engineer, So how come you meekly accepted what PG does. You are one great yes-man and probably would polish his shoes. What I am disappointed is that because you are a very experienced engineer and yet your attitude is "what ever will be, will be".
Now all can see the implication of having an unqualified Project Director to oversee a mega project of this size. As a Project Director, how often does he visit the site to monitor the progress against the scheduled plan? Maybe none at all. Does he study the progress reports by NF if these are submitted. And if no progress reports are submitted, isn't it the duty and responsibility of the Project Director and bro. Han to insist that these be submitted. How about site meetings? How often are site meetings scheduled? At such site meetings, PG, Jim, bro. Han, the consultants, the architect must attend. And in practice, the architect or consultant must certify the stage of work completed before the owner pays the progress payment. What happened? Dread to think of it.
In my opinion, the man responsible to oversee the project is unqualified and not competent, the relevant parties like bro. Han, the architect, consultants failed to monitor NF. Isn't this negligence and failing in their duties to safeguard the interest of the owner.
When the project first started, calvarites were told that Christmas services will be held there in 2009. Gone and past. Then Easter 2010. Soon will be gone and past. So when will CCC have it's opening ceremony service? Next year? In three years time? Five years? Really a million dollar question. Presently no calvarite can answer including the leaders in CC. Only that CCC will be completed. Full-stop. Yet calvarites are asked to give, give and give towards CCC. Give without knowing where is the project heading. Just givelah, don't ask too many questions. That's is the attitude in the conspiracy of silence.
Want the title but work no!!! That is what is happening. The conspiracy of silence says "you will only get to know what we want you to know and nothing else. So don't ask."
with that luxurious life style ... money is the wheel to maintain that... where could it be from ?definately from faithful sheeps like us.. i turn off the tap since 2007. i have more saving now...some better towel . bread and butter..once awhile i have some time for a short holiday...big dreams big plans..let them find their own money..am wondering how much we are in debt with the banks ? contractors?

Thank you TTG for your good works. Thought it might be mud slinging blog but after reading your blog for the last 3 days, I truly believe TTG.CT and supporters has been led by God to expose the wrongdoers.
I attended cc since 1980 and have left on 2 occassions. First, during the Sri Hartamas project, when SP spend 15-30 minutes asking for $$ during sunday service for the church building which he claims was a vision from God. I felt very uncomfortable and questioned if it is a vision from God, how come I do not have this vision. Am I lacking in Faith? I do not share this feeling with anyone as I do not want to be a "stumbling block". Later I found out that my husband shared the same sentiments and after long consideration we left to attend another church.
We came back to cc again when we had children and felt that cc has good children's ministry such as royal rangers and missionettes back in 1995. Even after our return, my husband was very uncomforted and felt that SP is getting worse after all these years and has no respect for his congregration during his ill prepared sermons. e.g. this week's sermon is a half hour repetition of last week's sermon. I kept telling my husband not to be so critical and should focus on God and not man as no one is perfect. My husband stayed on for me and my children's sake.
We made the decision to leave cc the 2nd time after the "Bite size campaign in Bukit Jalil" which sounded so worldly and calculative. If the ccc is a vision from God, then where is faith. cc do not have to resort to such manly way of calculating fundings.
Last year I had a phone call from cc pastor inviting us to special briefing. Our first thoughts is "asking for more money" and second ."could it be something to do with sp& his family." Is it possible that they are others who shared the same thoughts?
Again, thank you especially Dr Lum and CT for bringing this to the open. Now I know it's neither our lack of faith nor our critical spirit but God's spirit prompting us that something is not right.
To Anonymous at6:22pm Feb.10, I think I can understand how your husband felt on occasions when he was critical and you, in turn, criticize him. A few years ago my wife behaves this way too. Whenever I make any comments critical of SP, my wife will give me an earful like "don't question his vision as it may have come from God or "he is God's servant".
When CC was talking about submitting plans to rebuild the Damansara church, I remarked to my wife that it is next to impossible to obtain approval in this affluent residential area. She said "if PG says it is a vision from God nothing will stop it" What to do, just keep quietlah.
When CC had the first CCC Building Fund pledge (was it the Mustard See?), I said this will be the first but not the last, expect another one next year and year after year. She glare at me. So to keep peace, I just grinned. Anyway, I participated in the first pledge and the second one. Since then, I have stopped when I felt that there was not accountability to the cost. When the cost kept escalating, many meekly gave without knowing details. The remark that the architect said that there was a mistake in the calculation is unbelievable. How can a mistake be made not in a few hundred thousand but in millions. In the corporate world, as a professional, he probably be replace or sacked! This remark came from a academically qualified engineer in CC.
And with the problem created by NF, what is the direction now? "Let us handle this. You just give and continue to give" is the motto in CC today.
To conspiracy of silence on Feb. 9, you are absolutely right that there was a total lack of supervision or monitoring by those responsible to oversee the project on the owner's (ie CC) behalf.
Jim appointed as the Project Director. Hahaha. You can shout till the cows come home and here will be no changes. Why? Because my father appointed me. Reminds me of the Ewings in the TV soap opera Dallas.

When NF was awarded a portion of this multi-million mega project, an impressive video was shown on the signing ceremony. Now what has happened?
What has the Project Director, Jim, to say? The Project Director should also be responsible for this fiasco. Jim, when you signed the documents, you had assumed responsibility to to monitor the construction and ensure that all is proper. You have failed miserably. Never mind, you will not need to answer. Your father will cover you.
What was the contract period with NF? Nine months or a year? The problem did not happen overnight. Put in simple terms, it is not like an accident which can happen suddenly without warning. It is like a leaking tap, drop by drop it will fill a pail. So what, change the pail to solve the problem? This is not viable solution. The solution is to fix the leak.
Where were the architect, the quantity surveyor, the Project Director and the Project Manager (I think CC had one?) Why did these parties fail to see the signs? Or was there more to it?
As I said this problem did not happen overnight, due to lack of monitoring the problem escalates because NF saw that they were not being monitored.
Obviously, those who were acting on the interest of CC have failed miserably and neglected their duties. All those responsible in CC or otherwise who are acting on behalf of CC must now prepare a report on the failure of this portion of the project. It does not serve a purpose just to say that NF has defaulted and we are now finding ways to expedite the completion. This is pulling wool over the eyes of Calvarites who has been giving sacrificially to prevent them from knowing the truth. Conspiracy .... said "remaining silent about something unfavorable or criminal." which is typical action by leaders in CC.
The next Building Fund pledge is "akan datang". To give or not to give. Unless PG, Deacons or pastors or especially the Project Director present to Calvarites "the truth and nothing but the truth" and details and positive actions being taken to prevent another fiasco and also the completion of CCC (a time frame must be given, not just soon), it is better to keep your money or give it to another cause for the Kingdom.
Btw, last Sunday SK made a mission collection for Haiti. He said that CC had already given US25K due to the urgency. He also mentioned that regarding the collection, any excess of US25k will be given to Haiti. I translate this as CC will recoup what it had gave (correct me if i am wrong). Never mind whether the collection will exceed US25k. This is not the question. I were disappointed if this is the action that CC will take. CC has always pride itself to be a missions giving church. s it because that the need in Haiti is not in the list of recipient? or it does not fall under the category of missions. Organizations in USA always have priority, right? Whatever, missions department under SK must have contingency funds and give in the name of humanitarian aid. What more can you say about CC when a blogger said he was asked to contribute to the bus-fare when going to Johore in the last big flood. CC always paint a wonderful picture to the outside world but little do they know the actual picture like manipulation and coercion done in CC.

To be frank,i always attend CHC when i'm in singapore..what an coincidence that last three week when i went there,the Sr Ps was talking about his intention to build a stadium sized church somewhere around south sg. A lil detail about how he came with God sight. With current 5000 seated rented hall located in Expo Sg,there're some difficulties in fitting the increasing number of new comers. Besides, 'Expo' is willing to rent them one of these halls, but there's a limiation. They might required to move between halls from time to time, which involves few hundred thousands of SGD for not only equipment but the stage, seats, nursery, canopy, LED screen, enormously. Which he think instead, own a permanent place to settle down. So he started to seek consult from Ps from all over the world. Ps's opinion is still human opinion, n the max opinion he can get was 7000 for max attention to church members. But God showed him some msg when 1 of the church in the State invited him to preach there, n he saw an ovul shaped stadium which consist 12,000 attendant each time.(not total member of 12,000). Then he was invited to Korea to preach, another stadium sized church consist of almost the same amount of attendant. So he started to move up to get a land which can build a stadium which allow him to preach to 12k crowd.
As a exodus-ing Calvarite,it gave me a goose bump. N i started to show my concern on whether it's man's vision & mission or it was God's. I told my friend althou the size was very different, but CCC was a failure due to one man. So i started to wonder, do mega-church really works? So i had the initiative to find some article about wateva that concern me(thou it was non of my business+i'm kepochi)..Yes indeed there're lots of mega-church around the world, n their Sr Ps are mostly not on the church payroll. N they all had a clear account n management. But why can't we even move from a 3k seated church into 5k??we are so small compares to the service i attended in CHC Expo(it was 2-3times our church in size, n FULLY OCCUPIED). I attended both CHC Expo n CHC jurong west(last year), they both had 5k N 3k attendant respectively at the same hour of service, two times a day just simply double up the amount.
Just my 2cents here, frankly spoken my intention is to show some statistic here. Nothing more than that. Besides, don't know where i read this sentence correctly - 'Calary Church is one of the biggest church in kl'?.....

a)The "Big main Problem" started in April 2004 when CC had an EGM to approve the purchase of the Bkt Jalil land for CCC! A handful Calvarites spiritually discerned it was not God's Plan. Resolution bulldozed & passed ? DH's vision & SriHartamas's vision were small in comparison.
b) The church handbook ( best evidence rule) explicitly declared that Mrs G was automatically RETIRED on 2003 and that PG was automatically RETIRED in 2006? This is a Big LEGAL issue ?
Both are now illegal Pastors preaching ILLEGALLY ! I have stopped referring to them as " PASTORS " ? Both are Guilty for TREPASSING the CC premises? Salaries & allowances paid should be RECOUPED from both of them ?
c) CCC has become an ENTRAPMENT for Calvary Church & Calvarites today. It will be AUCTIONED off at Forced SALE Value at a Big LOSS ? YOU cannot escape these FACTS ? Spiritual SOLUTIONS will come later ?
d) OUR PROBLEMS now are that our PASTORS are mostly on the church payroll. And they also do not have a clear audited account and good management system. ( In contrast to # their Sr Ps are mostly not on the church payroll. N they all had a clear account n management )
TTG has done correctly to initiate Court proceeding in due process to " CLEAN UP THE HOUSE OF GOD !"

It is true that there is prejudice in member intake and upgrade. Applicant must stated in writing whether he agreed with CCC or not. PG wish to take members not just for the $$ but also to accumulate votes. He is preparing alternative, if an EGM for all resolutions highlighted by TTG really happen. Meanwhile, he also try to bring confusion to many, by painting a bad pictures of TTG, and an innocent picture of himself, by not highlighting any greed or corruption he did, while cunningly divert the focus to apparent evangelism, church growth and needs of people. He know everyone has needs, like sickness or financial problem. By making the people focus on their own need, he can divert them from the attention of his own corruption. He also likes to twist the truth by claiming the hurt of people is just a spiritual needs or weaknesses that can be solved by just blindly rejoice, although many hurts were directly because of his wicked actions. Such strategic work in twofold. Beside divert focus, he can also delay repentant until CCC is built. He believes when CCC is built, then he can get more naïve new members (who amazed at beautiful building regardless of moral), to replace all concern TTG members. CC may has the money to built CCC, maybe tight, but through preCarnival, postCarnival and all the deception claims of charity, they accumulate a lot. Bear in mind, CCC stop because of a default contractor, not because of no money. PG also has the support of international preachers whose heart won over by the money given to them through our mission giving over the years. Now, we know mission giving has turned to career advertisement fee or political propaganda expenses. Many who support him only listen to his part of the story. They do not know TTG’s. PG spread his part of story on stage and meetings directly or indirectly on how innocent he is and how bad TTG is. He asks people not to condemn, but he himself condemn TTG when the church announce the names of 7 who bring PG to court. TTG did nothing wrong. We did not condemn when we bring awareness of truth. It is PG who condemns us when he criticizes us just because we highlight the crimes he did to the church. Prolong unrepentant gives him much benefit as he can still manipulate church money for his own, collect much donation under the church’s name, & establishes more supporters by making them voters. Time test people’s memory. People may tend to forget or even give up on speaking against him over a long period, thus he escape without repentant. There already some members who think PG did not take church money for business class or personal ministry although such are fact. Can you believe such members does exist? How can proven facts can be so easily forgotten? The answer lies on the advantage of being on church stage, while TTG only has blog. More so when any guess speakers who preached in CC tend to indirectly justify PG’s sin when they come or did not speak against him. In a weak Christian community, it is the appearance, not the fact that people see to judge.

A glance through the Bible or Christian biography multiplies instances of this: take account of the lives of Jeremiah, Gideon, Hudson Taylor, and others like them.
Man starts on the Christian highway with much of the grave-clothes of the Fall still upon him. Separation from God has been a stark reality to him; he knows the weakness of the flesh; visible lack and need are more real to him than invisible fullness and supply.
But to those who have ears to hear and hearts set to follow comes a new word: “Say not, I am a child.” “Go in this thy might.” Say not, I am weak, I am carnal, I am

of faith. Exercise the authority of God.
Let us boldly exercise the authority of God and take the victory by faith at the Court hearing. Our duty is the have faith in God and leave the outcome with Him. Will not the King of kings and the Lord of lords act on behalf of His suffering children? Though He slay me, yet in Him will I trust.

Case postponed again? Does anyone know why this has happened yet again? It is disturbing that this case keeps being postponed.
Dear Fellow Calvarites who know Uncle Kandiah.
He has gone to be with the Lord. There will be a wake service tonight (4th March) @ 8pm in Nirwana Memorial. The burial service is on 5 March @ 10am.

Court Delays & Frustration?
Perhaps the most frustrating experience we have as human beings is facing delays and frustrations in our lives. Little do we know that this sense of frustration is spiritual training.
So convinced of our own divine right to a life of comfort and ease, to control our circumstances, we hardly look to God as the source of all our frustration, except to blame and curse Him. How could God do this to me? We can continue to wallow in self-pity and depression or we can change our view of life's frustrations and attempt to understand what God intends for us by these difficulties.
To understand God's purpose in bringing frustration into our lives we must return to the garden of Eden, where humanity's troubles began. Live is a choice – we either totally depend on God or we exalt ourselves at the expense of God, seeking to replace Him as the center of the universe and usurp His authority and glory (as satan did!).
Because of this danger, God frustrates mankind with a limit, and says: "You are free to eat of any tree in the garden, but you must not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die" (Gen.2:16-17). God places this limit not because He wishes to deprive humanity of any good thing: that is the deception of the devil, who convinces Eve that God has deprived her of the wisdom needed to live life to the fullest (Gen. 3:5-6).
However, Adam and Eve choose not to believe that God's provision for them in the garden is adequate for living life to the full, but rather choose to believe the devil, and reach out to take for themselves the knowledge of how to provide for themselves.
THE CONSEQUENCES OF FREE CHOICE
As a result of their choice to disobey God, God curses humanity by letting us endure the consequences of our own choice. Since we desire to be independent selves, He withdraws His blessings and allows us to attempt to provide for ourselves and live from our own sufficiency as best we can. God sets up the post-fall world deliberately to frustrate mankind, in order that we may be delivered from the deception that we are independent selves who can make a life for ourselves apart from God (Ro. 8:20-21 ).
The purpose of frustration and suffering is to force us to abandon the lie that we are can solve our problems by ourselves! For this reason, the author of Hebrews exhorts us to endure all suffering as discipline from our Heavenly Father, a discipline which has eternal life, peace and holiness as its goal (Hb. 12:7-11).
If we accept our circumstances as God's perfect circumstances for us, we will take hold of the life that is really life, the joy we were meant to experience as sons of the living God(2 Co 4:16-17).
The Lord does not want the Court to usurp His authority, power and glory, hence, these frustrations! The right way to deal effectively with these frustration and delays is to change our view of these circumstances. Let us acknowledge that the Lord is in CONTROL OF THE COURT. The purpose of these delays and frustrations are to bring us closer to Him and to acknowledge that we ultimately look towards Him as the TRUE source of deliverence for the situation at Calvary Church - whether through the Court or otherwise. HE IS IN CONTROL!
I also wish to sound a word of warning to Christians in position of leadership who do not fear the Lord. History has shown that the Lord has in the past taken leaders home before their time because they failed to honour HIS name. It is found in Revelation 3:1-3.
"I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know that hour I will come upon you."

So its been 3 months and I see this saga still happening at snail pace. Can someone update me on who this Helen Read, married to Edmund Read and which team she is associated with? You see I may visit places, churches and just being a busy body but yet want to know who these people are? Hope someone can enlighten me. Like highly recommended, be vary, stay away or be very very careful...nothing sinister just information. Had you done the Signatory campaign and followed up by injunction things would be a bit different. Now time for thermo nuclear action. Submit the injunction and call it the Church is trading insolvent. Stop the flow of funds. Freeze the accounts of the church. Let PG & CC have 100% voting null and Void members "shoik sendiri". So your have 1400 members and how is it the Church can also have 10,000 members? Yet 700 plus members calls the shots and 10,000 imaginary members keeps contributing to build your Mega Structure. Good trick to Trick Banks into believing that the Church have 10,000 ATM machine. This will be a short comment and you need to lodge the injunction to freeze NOW the Bank accounts. Make them use their own money to fight in the courts, maintain the church, pay the salary until some things get "negotiated". Tan Sri & BOD have not yielded for 5 years, they will not yield in 1 month either. No point quoting bible verses, when under public scrutiny is so OBVIOUS that Pride and SCAM is at work in Calvary. So much like Malaysian Politics but the salt have lost its saltiness.....Church becomes money Changer and Easter is UPON us.... So the Forgiveness and feel good sermon will sweep you all into another year of illusion. Is this the life we live? It comes a time when one has to decide to take this matter to its LIMITS and have a closure for it. Win or Lose. Then one has to move on base on the outcome. To hope for sudden Tan Sri & Family & BOD resignation, is like waiting for Hell to Freeze! Pardon the Pun but time to Turn the tables like Jesus outside the temple. Time for SERIOUS action!!....You guys just need to keep this site updated weekly......people want to know your observation of the Tan Sri Team. The fact those money changer are still there, people are delaying coming back to Calvary Church another week. From what I know, they are PG's strong supporters so it is best you stay away from discussing church issues with them.
Then again I may be wrong now because many PG's strong supporters have changed sides after so much of discoveries and revelations about PG's misadventures.
